Course Level Descriptions

• Level 1 Training: This training is geared towards maintenance personnel. It provides brief product, theory and software overviews but its main focus is on maintenance & troubleshooting.

• Level 2 Training: This training is geared towards application and controls engineers or those that are responsible for application design & modification. This level of training goes into more detail with a focus on theory, software & programming

This two-day course of Bosch Rexroth’s INDRADRIVE Servo Drive Course provides for familiarization with the Drive Connections and Basic Operating Modes of the INDRADRIVE.
Prerequisite: None

IndraDrive Mi Series Basic Servo Drive Course (1210)
This two-day course provides for familiarization with the hardware, electrical connections, functions, on-board I/O, troubleshooting, and various operating modes of the IndraDrive Mi series digital servo drive. This course also covers the use of IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of the drives, system and fault information, and system recognition of components.
Prerequisite: None

HDD/HDS Digital Servo Drive with HVE/HRV Power Supply (107)
Theory of operations, functions of major components, SERCOS, electrical interface, diagnostics and practical troubleshooting.


DKC Single Axis Digital Servo Drive (108)
Theory of operations, functions of major components, SERCOS, electrical interface, diagnostics and practical troubleshooting.


Level 2 Drive Classes


IndraDrive Safety Technology Function (1130)
This one-day course covers the use of the Bosch Rexroth S1 Safety Technology function in the IndraDrive family of digital servo drives.

IndraDrive Motion-Logic in Drive, Single Axis - MLD-S (1140)
This two-day course covers the Motion-Logic function in the Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Digital Servo Drive. This course expands on the knowledge gained in the #1110 course.

IndraDrive Motion-Logic in Drive, Multiple Axes - MLD-M (1150)
This two-day course covers the Motion-Logic function through the CCD command module in the Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Digital Servo Drive as it applies to controlling multiple axes.

This two-day course is designed to familiarize the new user to the IndraLogic PLCopen programming environment.

IndraLogic Control Basics (3010)
This three-day course is designed to give the experienced PLC user the tools necessary to develop their processes in the IndraLogic PLCopen programming environment.

This course is designed for the L20 PLC Control. An overall understanding of control capabilities is promoted through the use of Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks™ software.

Designed for the maintenance electrician.

MTX Maintenance and Troubleshooting (4110)
This course is designed for the Maintenance / Control Electrician. An overall understanding of control capabilities are promoted through the use of IndraWorks software.

This two-day course is designed to give the experienced IndraLogic user the tools necessary to further develop their processes.

L40 MLC Motion and Logic Control (2100)
This course is designed for the L40 PLC & Motion Control. An overall understanding of control capabilities is promoted through the use of Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks™ software.

VI Composer Software for Smaller Bosch Rexroth HMI Panels (7100)
This 2-day course of Bosch Rexroth's VI Composer software, version 2.02, is designed for the smaller HMI visualization panel users. It provides familiarization with the software and the various operator panel hardware types.

PPC Synax Control (156)
An overall understanding of control capabilities is promoted through the examination of system options, parameters, and system commands, using Bosch Rexroth Synax system version 11, 12, or 13.

Visual Motion version 11 System Basics with IndraLogic (343)
This course is designed for the new Power PC PP-R22.x Unit using Visual Motion 11 software. An overall understanding of control capabilities is promoted through the use of Visual Motion software.

Visual Motion 9 System Basics (142)
Designed for the new Power PC user. Understanding of control capabilities is promoted through the use of Visual Motion software.


CLM-A 4-Axis Control System (115)
Understanding of control capabilities is promoted through examination of keyboard and display features, parameters and programming commands.

TRANS 200 Transfer Line Control (131)
