Jeff Blackman Named Vice President of Automation Sales for Bosch Rexroth

Jeff Blackman will be responsible for the Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies, Electric Drives and Controls, and Pneumatics Groups for the Bosch Rexroth Corporation.
(Hoffman Estates, IL — www.boschrexroth-us.com) Bosch Rexroth Corporation recently announced the appointment of Jeff Blackman to the position of Vice President – Automation Sales effective July 1, 2007. In his new position, Blackman will be responsible for the Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies, Electric Drives and Controls, and Pneumatics Groups as well as the semicon and medical market segments in the United States. Blackman will report to Berend Bracht, President and CEO of Bosch Rexroth Corporation.
“Jeff’s 27 years of experience with Bosch Rexroth will provide extensive leadership with regards to the development and growth of our automation groups, as well as an increased focus on cross-technology integration within our Drive & Control sector,” says Bracht.
Blackman started his career with Bosch Automation Technology in 1980, as a Service and Sales Engineer in Leicester, UK. In 1986, he became Sales Manager, Electronic Drives and Controls and retained that position until 1993, when he was promoted to National Sales Manager, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical & Mechanical Products in the UK.
In 2000, Blackman was promoted to General Manager at Bosch Automation Technology, Hong Kong SAR, in Hong Kong, China and held that position until 2001, when he became Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Sales and Marketing for Bosch Rexroth China Ltd, Hong Kong SAR & Shanghai China PRC, a position he has held until now. Jeff has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Portsmouth University in Hampshire, England.
