Printing and Converting: Applications

Newspaper Printing

Since drupa '95, the triumphant advance of "Shaftless Driven" has reached practically all modern newspaper-printing machines. The advantages are perfectly clear -
higher efficiency by creating less waste, and providing faster upgrades and higher product quality.

The reduction of mechanical parts and additional equipment by the integration of SYNAX 200's "electronic shaft" simplifies the standardization of the printing modules and allows economical serial production throughout the system. This gives users flexibility in machine configuration and simplifies upgrades of sections or individual printing towers.

Besides that, the synchronization of individual printing elements on running webs allows so-called "on-the-fly plate changes."

Minimum mechanical adjustment, settings for best performance and faster execution of any task are the results.
