Three new inline I/O modules with powerful encoder feedback capabilities, add new functionality to the Rexroth family of scalable PLCs. The SSI, INC, and PWM/2 I/O modules can all be used with any Rexroth PLC for either local or remote I/O applications. All three modules reduce engineering time and investment, and are well suited to a variety of applications including printing, food and beverage, packaging, and general automation. The advantages they offer include:

Latest High-Density Modules
With the new Inline high density modules R-IB IL 24 DI8/HD-PAC and R-IB IL DO8/HD-PAC we expand the Inline portfolio with two modules with increased I/O packaging density. The terminals are available with 8 digital inputs in 1-wire-connection-technology and 8 digital outputs in 1-wire-connection-technology. With a housing width of 12.2 mm, machine builders reduced control cabinet space by 50%, lower component costs and machine assembly costs.
With the new Inline branch terminal R-IB IL 24 FLM-MULTI-PAC it is possible to integrate sensors and actuators in close proximity to the station, which are connected to Fieldline Modular M8 devices with IP65/67 protection, without adding complexity to the Inline station.
