The Planetary Screw Assembly PLSA is an assembly that consists of a screw and a nut with planets as the anti-friction elements. It serves to convert rotary motion into linear motion. The PLSA is designed to provide increased thrust loads quietly, efficiently, cleanly, and with a higher degree of repeatability and precision when compared with drive solutions of similar sizes. Simply, the PLSA offers higher load capacity and greater overall performance in a smaller package.
