NCT: Non-Contact Transfer

Lifts objects without contacting their surface; perfect for handling sensitive wafers and other components. Operating on the Bernoulli principle, which applies airflow under the device to create a vacuum and lift force between the center and the circumference, the NCT deal for applications where vacuum technology with suction cups is not feasible because good contact cannot be made with an object’s surface, or extremely sensitive or sterile materials are being moved.

Rotary index tables

RWT index tables offer accurate positioning by continuous stepwise rotation instead of forward and backward motion. A double-acting, piston-type ratchet and gear mechanism provide accuracy up to ±0.2 degrees, and the table has a useful plane-mounting surface with threaded mounting holes and locating dowels for precision and strength in manufacture of delicate implantable medical devices. Its flat design and high torque also enhance the big performance of this small device.

Easy-2-Combine rodless cylinders, mini-slides, rotary modules, and grippers

Easy-2-Combine is the solution for multi-axis automation tasks with individual components that can be combined in simple, time-saving assembly steps – enabling faster deployment or modification of medical products manufacturing lines in responses to changing market demand. Centering elements are used for interlocking mounting and connections for sensors and the air supply are provided at several positions throughout the system, making complicated and expensive connection kits unnecessary. Easy-2-Combine components can perform linear movements, pneumatically driven rotation movements, as well as gripper functions.

DDL: Drive & Diagnostic Link

The Drive & Diagnostic Link (DDL) can monitor the electrical control system down to the solenoid level, monitoring in real-time each pneumatic valve for supply voltage tolerances on electronics power, supply voltage tolerances on valve/communication power, solenoid coil opens or shorts, short circuits – helping ensure precise tracking of medical manufacturing that may be required to satisfy regulatory requirements. DDL’s daisy-chained bus structure simplifies electrical wiring—in some cases by 90%. It becomes easy to create more sophisticated capabilities without adding complexity—or even while reducing complexity.
